According to researchers stress is defined as a physical, mental or emotional response to events that causes bodily or mental tension but according to me stress is something which is caused due to immense mental pressure from work, constant fights at home etc which even leads to deppression or hypertension. In such cases a person often feels threatened or pressured. Different terms for stress include anxiety, nervousness, fearfulness, apprehensiveness, impatience, fear, tenseness, or restlessness.
In today’s world stress has become a very common word to be used. Unfortunately it’s not a medel of honour that can be proudly carried everywhere. If nothing is done to overcome it on time then it can lead to anger, hostility, and a decreased overall enjoyment of life. The main reason for stress is work especially among those who believe they are underpaid and underappreciated in their professional lives. Strained family relationships with spouses and children can also lead to stress. However, even seemingly insignificant problems such as long lines at the grocery store or rush hour traffic jams can increase stress levels in some people.

Stress can be cured in simple and useful ways:
1) If you feel stressed at any point then simply think of the things which make you feel better and at ease. It can be anything from long fast drives to hogging on chocolate ice-creams or dancing in a club to relax your self completely.
2) Another best way to destress your self from all the tensions is to meditate. Meditation gives a healing power and relaxes you completely. It makes you feel energetic and gives you the strength to fight stress.
3) Plan regular breaks. Make sure to take short breaks throughout the day to sit back and clear your mind. Also try to get away from your desk for lunch. Stepping away from work to briefly relax and recharge will help you be more, not less, productive.
4) The biggest stress buster in today’s life is to have a pet especially dogs. If you have a pet at home then make sure whenever you are back from work you play with your pet for atleast an hour. This will help you stay away from stress and keeps you happy.
Stress is always an uninvited guest, it’s upon us how we handle it and show them the way out.
Live your life like a king and leave the stress behind in office because a stress-free life is a happy life.
