The so called guardian for Indian Muslims,  Darul Uloom Deoband , recently declaired a Talibane fatwa for Indian working women , that they had to coverup faces while talking to Male colleagues and has decreed that it is “haram” and illegal according to the Sharia for a family to accept a woman’s earnings.

The so called guardian for Indian Muslims,  Darul Uloom Deoband , recently declaired a Talibane fatwa for Indian working women , that they had to coverup faces while talking to Male colleagues and has decreed that it is “haram” and illegal according to the Sharia for a family to accept a woman’s earnings.
“It is unlawful (under the Sharia law) for Muslim women to work in the government or private sector where men and women work together and women have to talk with men frankly and without a veil,” said the fatwa issued by a bench of three Darul Uloom clerics.
At the time when India is going ahead with more job quota and progress for muslim community and muslim leaders demanding reservation for women in parliament, this falwa really force our policy maker to rethink aboout.
