Tooth decay, blackening of teeth, and cavity are the common dental problems among adults as well as children. Children’s are more prone to dental problem or tooth decay because they neither give proper attention to oral hygiene nor they know the methods of cleaning tooth. Improper cleaning of teeth and mouth leads to many problems like swelling of gums, bad breath, pyorrhea, tooth decay, excess saliva formation etc.
Cause of Pyorrhea:
Unclean mouth and teeth are the beautiful home of bacteria and it causes infection on gums. The gum swells and become red in color and leads to pain and bleeding after sometimes. Infected mouths with pyorrhea can also suffer from improper bowl movement and slowly their digestion process also gets affected. It leads to constipation and tooth decay also. Sometimes pus starts coming out of the infected gum which may effects other organs also.
Yoga and natural prevention of Pyorrhea
Yogic cure of pyorrhea: Pranayama, practice Shithali and Sitkari Pranayam regularly. Along with some natural medication also required.
Natural Cure of Pyorrhea:
1) Chew Neem or Accacia stick properly. Stick should not be too thick other wise it will hurt your mouth. The Neem juice or acacia juice have anti-bacterial elements that help in fighting infection and give you strong teeth.
2) Mix finelly grinded (sieved using a cloth) rock salt with mustard oil. Apply it on gum and give a slow massage. Do not bother if it bleeds. Left over for sometimes and then rinse your mouth with fresh water. It will help a lot, hot and cold feeling of teeth also reduced.
3) Lemon juice when rubbed on gums gives relief in case of bleeding of gums.
4) Rinse the mouth thoroughly after every meals. Chewing soaked black gram, coconut scrap, raw fruits and sugarcanes is a good exercise for teeth.
Cause of Tooth decay: Main cause of tooth decay is consumption of suger and sweets. Tooth decay in children is mainly caused by excess intake ok suger candy, toffee, chocolate and biscuits. In absence of proper cleaning there can be infection which leads to pus formation, formation tumor etc. Black spots appears initially which may forms cavities later.
Natural cure of tooth decay:
1) After consuming sweets gargle moth thoroughly.
2) Boil asafotida in water, wash mouth and apply asafotida in molars, this helps in reliving pain and kill germs.
3) Add guava leaves in one liter of water and make decoction. The essence of leaves should come in water and water would become this as milk. Rins the mouth with decoction.
4) Chewing basil and jasmine leaves also give relief from toothache.
Cause of Bad Breath: Indigestion, constipation, tooth decay and pyorrhea are the some reasons for bad breath. If the constipation and indigestion persist the practice Uttanpadasanna, Suptavajrasana, Katichakrasana and Mandookasana regularly. Remember practice these asana in assistance of yoga teacher and as per individual capability and capacity.
Natural Cure of Bad Breath:
1) Boil skin of pomegranate in water. Let it cool then gargle with luck warm pomegranate water. It gives relief with mouth ulcer and bad breath.
2) Chew dry coriander seed to stop bad breath.
3) Once in day, take lukewarm water and add one tea spoon ginger juice and one tea spoon lemon juice and gargle with it.
4) After meals chew on clove, it keeps teeth healthy and keeps bad breath away.

Thyroid gland which weights less than an ounce play significant role in body metabolism. Thyroid gland situated in the neck in and around trachea. The thyroid hormones, thyroxine (T4) and triiodothyronine (T3), are tyrosine-based hormones, has astonishing effects. When this gland is less active then it secretes fewer hormones, hypothyroidism, which in tern slows down the process of metabolism. Lesser secretion of thyroid hormones results in lesser energy and one become more sensitive to cold and his weight also increases. Thyroid regulates heartbeats, temperature of body, and movement of muscles and also helps in burning calories.
What are the symptoms of more or less secretion of thyroid hormones?
Malfunction of thyroid gland are very minute and related with the growing age. That’s why it’s very difficult to detect them at the initial stage. All the time person feels lazy, heart beats slows down, muscles become rigid and pain occurs. Face looses its glow and hair fall starts. It also leads to constipation and swelling in their legs and face.
